ABOUT

Boonsboro High School, established in 1958, is a proud part of Washington County Public Schools and serves approximately 750 students in grades 9–12. Our school is recognized for academic excellence, earning a Maryland Blue Ribbon School award and a U.S. News & World Report Silver Award. With a 98% graduation rate, strong SAT and ACT performance, and a wide selection of AP courses, we prepare students for success in college, careers, and beyond.

Our Warrior spirit extends far beyond the classroom. Students thrive in a wide range of extracurricular activities, from championship athletic teams and a standout academic team to nationally recognized arts programs. Each year, our drama productions, concerts, show choir performances, and visual art displays showcase the talent and creativity of our students, while athletic events bring the community together to cheer on our teams.

Our recently renovated auditorium and updated facilities provide state-of-the-art spaces for learning, performance, and collaboration. Boonsboro High combines a tradition of excellence with a forward-looking commitment to preparing students to lead, create, and thrive.
